After months of talking bout this event…it DEF went down… Besides the 2 major factors that effected Gwiz’s and I’s booth area. Art of War was live and uncut like @JelloxHalloways Video clips hahah. IT WAS DOPE basically… ups to Bobbi Vie, Bob and Ann, the vendors, and the homies/folks that came to the event!!! Course after a dope event comes with a Homegirls Birthday/After Party…another story.

SockHop was dope, def a cult of dancers doing their thing on stage. If you weren’t there than you def missed out. Killa Kimbo, High Five on ur performance, even though i might have missed one… Didn’t see much but the homies joints because the vendors were in another room chillin. Since we were all chillin, some clowning was going down as well. BECAUSE I didnt get to see much of the performances, I rarely have any flicks from the event but the vendor area, but here are a few shots to peep and forget in the next few minutes.

Been getting familiar with the clothing Insight (www.insight51.com). Just wanted to state that they are now one of the few top brands I personally favor. From bottoms to there tops… simple, clean, and a fresh vibe of a sunny day?…..
In other words, went back to barracuda to take some photos for the website. Stopped by Alan’s spot and still working on Simons music video, played ping pong, and went back to Gwiz updating the site and me eating funyuns blogging and ranting on Twitter (@SuhReal).
Got to La early in the A.M. with Gwiz riding 100mph, sees a cop, hits the break, and swerves like sh**(HAHAHA) so the cop doesnt see how fast he was going. Was really obvious we slowed down like crazy and pulled us over with the speed he was going himself, which was a good move. High to the five for that.
Anyways we went to BarracudaLA on Melrose to link up with Miguel, the owner of Barracuda. My first time meeting him, but Gwiz has been working with him recently. Little background on Miguel: He’s the visual director of MindStyle (HUGE vinyl toy company, before kid robot), designs for Nike (probably what you have on right now), and owns BarracudaLA is what i know of his background. Very cool guy, along with the folks that worked there, and the folks who were loungin there skating the miniramp on the yard. Speaking of that, this place is a dope retail shop, a Barbery Shop, soon to be Tattoo spot, and few offices on the upper level. well here are some pics before this ends up being like a book…

Wish I had photos but my camera mid/end of this month was not with me… but July is another story…
Also would like to state the obvious that the month of JUNE has been a tragic month with the AirFrance flight and the Flight that went down in the Indian ocean to the death of 3 celebrities R.I.P.
I know many of you maybe be tired of hearing this…Celebrity deaths usually dont effect me but Michael Jackson’s death did…a GREAT amount of loss and a weird/awkward feeling with his passing. Remembering when I first moved to America back in ‘94, playing his music all the time and pretending to concert with the cousins… I have always enjoyed and loved his music. Sad to say honestly havent listen to his music in a long time till recently after hearing of his death, crazy to be able to see and hear the amount of talent he was equipped with.
Regret taking his existence, his music, and him as good human being for granted. With the false accusations of MJ being a child molester and the great amount of rumors that went around, many of us all joked around with(including myself) and apogolize for that. Glad to of Lived a part of his Era. R.I.P.
