Yesterday had a chance to meet up with a very good friend, Bobbi Vie, to catch up with whats good with him and vice versa. As always, very inspiring and always end up in a good couple hours deep conversation ’bout the real real. Can honestly say, one of the VERY few, who can relate and understand what im trying to do and gain from doing what im doing as an artist and running SuhReal. And as always, at the end of our meet, learn something new and always being reminded to keep it true to yourself and not have the mainstream hype and ‘whats hot’ mold your work, designs, and actions.

We met up at Hannah’s Coffee by the way, Def a spot worth checking at 754 The Alameda Street San Jose, Cali. Will come back in the near future for a little more detailed post on them, that red velvet and tall glass of ice blend coffee was MAD GOOD!!!!

Afterwards, met up with a couple of the SuhReal team only to roam in the ‘red zone’ then go over Neyo Threets house for a microwavable McChicken.

In other news, new Natural Disaster Skate Video release and can view parts of it on Youtube. SuhReal Sighting at 6:38 and the childhood friend, Billy Roper, doin it up starting at 5:22.

Before actually starting on a project that isn’t something of my style or interest, I usually get uptight and over focused (meaning thinking about the project too much). I Hate it! So what I started doing a while back ,before actually working, was work on something really minor like a series of doodles or a simple quick ink/brush piece of whatever it is I want to loosen and relax my mind and self in general. I came back from my 3 week vacation with some projects lined up, which im getting cracking on. Warmed up with this;

Very respectable peoples and brand itself. Def represent them for what they stand for, a corner in my “design board”. You see the bottom i blurred out. Its actually a design for next year 2011.

That character you see was done a couple months ago, from a mini child book that turned out a little too grunge for kids taste, but ended up settling good with the elder kids. Ill post the full mini book up in the long run, but here is the last page to it.

At Home of Chicken&Waffles with founder and younger cousin of this upcoming blog, www.FemaleGoneRogue.com, younger cousin Chancho, and FGR’s mut, Amanda?(wow I think thats her name…I just embbed her as “mut”). Good seeing family members pursuing what they love doing, seems to run in the family, but i’ll talk about that on a future post… Just wanted to see where she was going with FGR, what it was about, etc… the whole nine. So far so good, expect to hear more of them.

A Start.

Starting to spreadsheet my life away, its only right with all these projects lined up +school starting, and personal&business money…all in spreadsheets… Must do it now… Getting out of hand. In other words, landed last night with an 8am class to catch the next morning.

Left my heart back home and slowly picking my hustle back up. Slowly but surely start discussing each projects, unless I find out any disclosure policy behind any of them…
